Larry Heichel established a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm which was an industry leader in providing commercial developers accurate and concise analytics that were necessary to develop the booming Coastal South. Later, Larry co-founded Seaboard Commercial Properties to meet the overwhelming demand created by the national developer clients he previously served. Seaboard successfully negotiated over 40 Million Dollars of transactions per year for ten years. With an extensive network of contacts Larry also partnered with and managed marketing for three separate ventures which developed over 1200 acres of commercial and residential properties in Beaufort County, South Carolina’s fastest growing county.
With real estate development a cornerstone in his career Larry branched out to the investment world in 1999 co-founding Coastal Venture Investment Forum, (now Savannah Angel Partners) which provides angel capital for start-up companies; founded the Bi-State lunch bunch bringing together diverse range of companies, legislators from SC and GA. He has served on four separate Economic Development Boards/task forces. Larry is currently serving as a member of the Advisory Council for Anderson Cancer Institute at Memorial University Hospital, Savannah GA. Commercial real estate and investment experience combined with a strong sense of community give Larry the experience and contacts necessary to bring value to Fairchild as director of business development and Partner.
Larry is a fine art collector and Managing Director of the ‘Teaching Collection” a collection of objects/art used as teaching aids at the Technical College of the Lowcountry.
